The Keychron V1 Barebone Version is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard with QMK/VIA support, designed to be easily assembled for endless hardware and software customization possibilities. It is built with the Mac users' experience in mind while also being compatible with Windows devices.

With the V1, users can easily master any keyboard keys or macro commands through the intuitive VIA software. The keyboard comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems, allowing users to save two different layouts on the keyboard.

Please note that users need to purchase switches and keycaps separately in order to type with the V1 Barebone version, as it is hot-swappable and supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches without soldering required. The open-source firmware allows for endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more.

Users can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard with QMK and VIA support. The V1 is equipped with a brand new ultra-low-power Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU which provides more flexibility for developers.
